Chef Doug Johannes has been cooking for us since 2010 serving up delicious food at multiple high end dinner parties. He is a master at grilling a mouth watering ribeye steak and his fried fish is second to none. Our guests also love his fragrant, smoky jerk chicken along with his flavorful pan seared salmon. Chef Doug’s other memorable meals include his red beans and rice, his creamy coleslaw and his savory hush puppies. Chef Doug takes the time and attention to detail to make every dish scrumptious. As a long time client, we are well pleased with not only his cooking ability but his pleasant and relaxed demeanor as well. Give Chef Doug a try and you won’t be disappointed.

Chef Doug was amazing! He quickly put together a wonderful menu to help us celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. The food satisfied everyone, ages 3-80, which is huge accomplishment. We had plenty of leftovers, which were just as tasty the next day. Chef Doug was prompt and professional and I would highly recommend him for any event!

Mr. Doug Johannes has been my family's personal chef since 2010. This has been well over a decade and going. He is still our personal chef. We are very pleased. My family is especially fond of his beef stew and Jambalaya dishes. His Roast Chicken is also a big hit with us. We have been very satisfied with him. He is very professional! We really appreciate his work ethics, his cleanness, and his flexibility with the food. He is very willing to please the client!

Chef Doug is never late and always on time. He has done a few personal chef services for me; there was a delicious Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for my family. My highly critical Mother-in-Law was licking her fingers after eating Chefs Citrus Roasted Turkey. She even packed a plate to take with her. He also catered a corporate meal for me to serve to members of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). The IMA members were satisfied with the delicious meal. I can always count on Chef Doug to delivery delicious meals right on time.

I have been a customer of Chef Doug since he moved to Kentucky. Luckily I have had the pleasure of eating just about everything on his ever expanding menu. He was my first introduction to Caribbean flavor except for Jamaican Jerk Chicken. I quickly found out that he has mastered the art of using herbs that are specific to the Caribbean and not something we can get in our local grocery. I tried! I expected everything to be spicy like jerk chicken but it’s not at all. Doug’s Caribbean blends are mellow and very flavorful. Eating his food is like being on the Islands. Almost like a desired combination of entrée’s from land and sea being complimented with samples of the vast tropical vegetation unique to the area. If you have the chance to use his service you will be hooked. Everything has that authentic Caribbean flavor and you will love it.
